The Copperbane Series

I can't give too much away, but the basic idea of the series is that this is more the story of an entire world than the story of individuals. It's a tale of survival with serious issues (such as conservation) and because this series tells the story of a planet, we will see the greater world as a whole. The survival of individual species may not matter if it means the planet itself and the majority of the rest of the planet's species gets to live. Because of this, books usually do not take place right after each other chronologically. The minimum space of chronological time between individual (non-trilogy or duology) books is to be ten years. Most of the time, far more time, such as fifty or a hundred years will pass between stories and in stories which take place years after the first books, the reader and characters will hear mention of previous books' characters as historical figures.

The series is a very unique sci-fi x fantasy hybrid. It's written for all ages, but it will likely get classed as Young Adult Fiction. Though this is fantasy and there is magic, I do my best to give aspects of it a basis of science, which further helps with the sci-fi aspect of the stories.
