Hickstead

WHY isn't there a Hickstead Breyer? SERIOUSLY? Is it just because he's Canadian and Breyer only wants to make American horses or something? Bahhhhhh!

This needs to be fixed. Someday, I shall make a breyer into Hickstead.

About the Author

Rosanna P. Brost was born on the morning of March 18th 1990 in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada. She grew up in Armstrong, British Columbia, Canada where she received many awards for her artistry in public school and where in 2004 she became a recipient of the Chief Scout Award of Canada, the highest and most prestigious award given to any participants in the Canadian scouting movement. Rosanna grew up with a love of the wilderness, hiking and camping with her family, as well as with her Scout Troop, 1st Pleasant Valley. It is from these experiences, as well as her mother's stories of growing up as a farm girl in rural southern Alberta, that Rosanna gleans most of her inspiration for the Copperbane Series. Fascinated by history and science, Rosanna does her best to create a world that while fantastic, makes sense. In 2008, Rosanna started her formal art training as an animator at Capilano University in North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada which is where she resides to this day.

Rosanna's interests include hiking, backpacking, illustration and learning as much as she possibly can.

This blog is dedicated to my 'pack;' my muses and kin. My Mom, my Dad, my brothers, my friends. This is for you guys, but it is also dedicated to my own spirit and is written in recognition of my own wildness. While at times life is hard and at times it seems like we must bridle to society, in our hearts we should always remember that humans are wild animals too, just the same as the totem wolf whose spirit guides my life. This blog is about being free and recognizing freedom for what it is. I will rant here and I will rave. I will be the most annoying, opinionated sunova bitch full of chutzpah you've ever heard of, but all of it will be in complete bearing of my soul as a wolf howls to the wind in jubilation. Yau Man on Survivor once said; "love everyone, trust few, do wrong to none." This is the principal by which I live.

This blog is me. With ever single ornery word and nuance, this is my spirit. Welcome to my world.
