A year has past since you last pressed nose and teeth to my hand, but your paw prints remain upon my heart forevermore. You who caught pheasants and cared for your babies, noble queen of all cats, rest peacefully in your garden. Know that you are missed, but sleep peacefully dear heart, for you of all creatures deserve love everlasting. You transcended the boundaries of species and it is from you that I learned what true love is.
Sleep easy forever in your garden Mamma Kitty. Someday I'll join you there.
