Hero Dog Saves Another

Who says animals can't think and don't have compassion now? This not only shows amazing bravery, by the hero dog using his paws instead of his teeth to drag his fellow to safety, he showed great intelligence because his teeth could have hurt his fellow more. I dare call that sentience. It's certainly evidence of strategy, which only keen minds can produce. Hero pooch actually formulated a plan for helping his buddy - just like a human would!

Just because animals don't perceive their world the same way that we do doesn't meant that they are not as smart (or even smarter) than we are.
